Vintage

Isn't it funny how so many of us have chosen old photographs this week! I have made a tag for my Aunty Elsie, who died in November. I printed a picture of her at the seaside when she was about six years old- probably in Weston-Super-Mare! For the tie I used some of her original Cash's name tapes from when she joined the WRENS in 1942. It has made me realise that we should write on the back of our photographs because I have so many lovely pictures, and now she's gone, there's no way of finding out who some of the people are. So ladies, for the sake future generations, make sure you put names and dates on the back of your photos!

  1. Great image and tag! And you are soooo right about identifying photos-- folks need to include dates and locales too!

  10. Sweet sweet tag, made even better because that little cutie was your Aunty. Lovely. The problem is so many photographs are kept on the computer, will they get passed on like old fashioned photos? Shame if they don't, it's our heritage.
