Easter Eggs!
FLOWER POWER
To make this tag, I blotted the tag with blue paint. Next I made half of an egg, using paper mache (glue, water and orange and hot pink tissue paper). I cut out lots of flowers from Spring paper using the Cricut, bent them into shape and glued them along the tag, finishing up with little jewels in the flowers. Her beak is clay and her eyes are buttons, jewels and paper eyelashes.
SQUEAK
Squeak is made from a real egg that I blew and cleaned out. After that, I partially cracked him open and put in the face piece, which has eyes and a beak made of clay and painted. I glued a couple of the cracked pieces back on with glue and painted him a bright orange with a few white polka dots. His little claws are made of copper wire bent into shape and poked in a hole in the bottom. The cracks that are left were deliberate and just part of his personality. I like him but wasn't sure he qualified as a tag.
