Letter W

Hi! Tuesday again so soon, but I'm actually delighted to be posting on Tuesday :D
I chose Wisteria as my word for this weeks letter W.
The image I used is one I took just a few days ago of a fine specimen growing up the front of a house along the road from me. I printed it twice; stuck one copy to some scrap card & the other, I stuck the central part, to a wooden heart, (which I had pre-coated with a base of white acrylic paint).

Once dry I coated the heart with crackle accents.

I pleated some lace for the bottom of the tag & added some ric-rac ribbon. I matted the tag to some lilac card which I edged with indigo watercolour. The tie is a cord & tassel from my stash.
Have a Wonderful Week, stay well, be happy, & I will see you here next week for letter X (eek!)
:-D *Hugs* Mo xx

  9. I love the effect you achieved with the heart, that really looks so cool. Wisteria, such a pretty colour, I was lucky to see ours in full bloom at the cottage in France, before we left a few weeks ago.

  10. Wonderful Wisteria tag Mo, I was amazed at how profoundly they can grow up the side of buildings (did a bit of research into them when I was doing my Blue Lace cottage), I just had to sttich one
