Italy

I tried something completely different with my Italy tag: I sketched it with colored pencils!
I haven't been to Italy yet, but when I think of it lately I imagine Tuscany, and the Lavender fields there -- with the tall Cypress trees and the houses tucked in beneath them.  So that's what I drew.  It was fun and relaxing.  I'm not an artist, but several years ago one of my friends encouraged me to paint a mural.  So I did.  On the front of an armoire.  It looked something like this (only MUCH larger!)

  13. Sometimes simple is best, especially in your case with the use of colored pencils to create an image that is very Italian.
