Hi everyone - thank you all so much for the wonderful comments on my fairy tag last week. There were so many incredible works of art all depicting different views of myths & legends; so fabulous.
This week I have done a very simple tag. I printed an image, (my own), of a decaying tree stump onto a piece of fabric that is stained with rust, from an Erosion Bundle Project I did a year ago. I frayed the edges a little and added the wonderful quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald.
I cut a heart from some paper that was also in my erosion bundle and stuck it with a rusted pin. The ribbon tie is also from said bundle, although the rust isn't very clear in this picture. My friend Lynn Holland also had a dabble with an erosion bundle, with very beautiful results.
As usual, I'm looking forward to seeing what you all create this week. Have fun.
Stay well, *Hugs* Mo :o)
Printing the tree stomp on fabric gave the piece a fabulous textural quality. I also love the tin heart that your pinned on it, and the fabulous quote by S. Fitzgerald. Blessings!
