1950

Such beautiful roses tag to admire and inspire and thank you for the comments on my tag everyone.

Wasn't sure what to do for the 1950's as I was at school and working for all of that time and most of it is a bit of blur-lotsa travelling too and fro, homework and sport.

I went with trams and added a picture of me in school uniform. The tram photograph is at the terminus where I got off to catch the next bus to school.

I passed the 11+ and went to an all girls Grammar School and to get there I went on 2 buses and a long tram journey in between those. I set off each morning at 7.30am and didn't get home until after 5 pm. We had to wear school uniform winter and summer. my photograph must have been taken in the school grounds because if we went outside the boundrary we had to wear an emerald green beret.

You would think my memories of that time would be awful but I loved every minute and even used to do the same journey on Saturdays to play netball, hockey or tennis.

Can't wait to see everyone's makes on this subject

Love Chrissie x
