Three

Hi everyone!  This is my first post to Tag Tuesday and I'm so excited to be here!  My name is Kelly Deal and I live in Plainfield, IL, which is 30 minutes southwest of Chicago USA.  I'm married to Ed and have a furry child named Dexter.  I love to do all kinds of creative things from scrapbooking, photography and crafty stuff for the home.  Below is my first tag.  Since I have my Valentine's Day stuff pulled out, I decided to go with a Valentine's Day theme.  "Three" is the 3 buttons on the tag.

Three

Bonjour et Bonne Annee!

Hope you all have survived the festive season and had a lovely time!

I had such ambitious plans for this week's tag but like all the best laid plans!!!!!!  Lets just say it was a spectacular failure and so I have quickly cobbled something else together as I didn't want to go two weeks without posting a tag.
The tag was covered in tissue wrap then gessoed over.  I cut out the trellis to go on top, then sprayed with cosmic shimmer mist. I dyed the seam binding with the same spray for the bow and the three butterflies went through several changes of colour before I was happy.

Am off to look at what you've been up to!

A bientot

P.S.  I am aware that the accents are missing when I type in French but I can't seem to find out how to get them to work in Blogger - any ideas welcome (perhaps I could copy and paste from another source?)  As you can tell, I'm not very techie!!

THREE

I shouldn't be spending my time with crafty stuff at the moment, too many other things to do, but I couldn't miss the last tag of 2014 now, could I? Here it is -

Background is from a paper collection called Steampunk Botanica. I punched three scalloped ovals out of coffee stained paper and stamped them with one of my little alphabet letter sets. Added 3 metal Threes, a little bunch of 3 flowers and that was it really.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYBODY !

hello friends and happy new year!  at first i was stumped what to do with this "three" theme. and then, it being the last day of the year i decided to offer up three wishes for you all.

this is an itty bitty tag at about 1x2 inches.  the background paper is from the mori girl paper pack "tokyo mama" from gecko galz.  the angel is from a lunagirl collage sheet.  i hand wrote my three wishes on paper from the primavera series by itKuPiLLi.  there's a bit of butterfly washi tape, a hole reinforcement and some distressing.  i tied it up with some crinkly packing paper pieces.

i wish you all LOVE, PEACE & JOY in the new year and always!
love to all.

Three

Thank you all for your lovely comments for this year. I hope you all have a brilliant 2015.
I have chosen to do three wise owls. I inked the background, and then used a brass stencil and sprayed over it to get a dark background to the trees. I painted some owls and then coloured them with distress pens, and added some leaves and grass to finish off the bottom of the tag.

Threes

Hello Everyone. I hope you had a lovely holiday time. Thank you for the comments on my Vintage Christmas Tag and for all the comments in the 2014 when I joined Tag Tuesday. It has been lovely to see the wonderful themes and the tags that everyone makes. I hope you have a Healthy and Peaceful 2015.

I chose the Three Graces as my three of anything. I did see the one in the Louvre many years ago and it was so beautiful.

Have a great week-can't see what is coming next

Love Chrissie x

Hello everybody, I hope you enjoyed a fabulous festive time over the past week. Many thanks for your comments on my vintage Christmas tag last week. I would like you to know that I appreciate every single comment I ever get and wish you all much happiness, good health and a song in your heart through 2015.

My tag this week was quick and easy. I found images I liked and drew them in my own way and added some colour to the back ground.

Until next time, stay well, stay safe, be happy ((hugs)) Mo :o) x

Hi Everybody!

Hope you all had a great Christmas and here's wishing you all the best, especially health and happiness, for 2015.

For my '3' tag I used a tissue transfer onto a golden tag. I used gilding flakes around the edges to give it some glitter and shine. The three angels are from a packet of tissues I got as a present from the chemist's, and much too nice to use for blowing my nose! I mounted the gold tag onto some peeled and gessoed cardboard, and added some fibres - that was it, quick and simple.

Have a great week, take care,
and thanks a lot for coming by!
